UK Chamber of Shipping – Future and alternative fuels

As shipping transitions away from fossil fuels the range of future and alternative fuels is significant but which will succeed is less clear.
With the needs of a tug vessel very different from those of a cruise ship or deep sea container vessel different sectors will need different solutions. The UK Chamber of Shipping is bringing together shipping leaders and advocates for a range of future and alternative fuels to discuss the opportunities and challenges they each face.
Speakers will include senior figures advocating for solutions including nuclear, methanol, hydrogen and ammonia and will be moderated by an expert chair who will seek to probe the challenges and risks each technology faces to help delegates leave with a greater understanding of the solutions available.
