Charting a New Course – The IMO’s Revised Strategy on Greenhouse Gases

This panel discussion will bring together key actors to reflect on the outcome of this summer’s greenhouse gas negotiations at the IMO. The focus of the event will be the importance of the 2023 IMO GHG Strategy in the wider context of UN climate discussions, both as a new pathway for a major economic sector and as a point on the road to COP28. Discussion will touch upon the spirit of collaboration during the negotiations, the most important next steps ahead of MEPC81, and how we can provide even clearer signals to industry.
