Indian Register of Shipping (IRS), a leading classification society and member of IACS, is bringing together prominent industry voices at the free-to-attend IRS Round Table to debate the theme: ‘Seascape 2030 – Decarbonisation and the Human Element’.

Running from 10:00am – 12.00pm on 12th September at Rubens at the Palace, the distinguished lineup of speakers includes prominent shipping economist and Executive Director of Maritime Economics for Professionals Dr Martin Stopford; Savraj Mehta, Chief Commercial Officer, North Standard; Lee Martindale, General Manager – Sales at Wartsila; and Cara Carter, Director of Halcyon Recruitment. They will be joined by IRS’ Executive Chairman, Arun Sharma, and Managing Director, Vijay Arora.

The panel will discuss how the transition to a new fuel ecosystem and continuous technological evolution will impact the future workforce and debate the critical role of the human element in the development of sustainable technology and systems. Through debate and discussion, attendees will gather insights and opinions on how all stakeholders can collectively address the challenges that lie ahead.
