The Lloyd’s Register Foundation Heritage & Education Centre (HEC) is excited to announce that 71 Fenchurch Street will be open to the public in this year’s Open House London event on Saturday 16 September.
Both the Collcutt and Rogers buildings will be open from 10:00-17:00 (last entry at 16:30). Admission is free for all and offers a fascinating insight into historic and contemporary architecture. For previous Open House London events, 71 Fenchurch Street has attracted a diverse range of visitors from architecture enthusiasts to maritime researchers. So much so that in 2015, over 2,000 people visited both buildings.
71 Fenchurch Street is a prime location for visitors, with travel links from Fenchurch Street Station, Aldgate and Liverpool Street within walking distance.
Entrance to the venue is via the Rogers main entrance of 71 Fenchurch Street. A one-way system will be in place throughout the day, with the venue exit being the Old Entrance of the Collcutt building.
