Nigeria has recently seen a change of government and new President. The question being asked across the shipping and maritime security world is how this may impact on business. In early initiatives we have seen direct action taken against gangs responsible for hijackings and kidnappings in the Calabar River and more significantly the banning of a significant number of ships from operating in Nigerian waters.
