The Future of Maritime Arbitration

The LMAA and Quadrant Chambers are pleased to be co-hosting a panel discussion as part of London International Shipping Week 2023: ‘The Future of Maritime Arbitration’.

The panel will be Jon Elvey, Arbitrator and Full Member of the LMAA, Nigel Cooper KC, Quadrant Chambers, Prof Sarah Green, Commissioner for Commercial and Common Law, The Law Commission, Nicola Cox, Head of Defence Claims, West of England Insurance Services (Luxembourg) SA, Andy Preston, Partner, Preston Turnbull. The discussion will be chaired by Gemma Morgan, Quadrant Chambers.

They will be discussing:

  • Hot topics for users of maritime arbitration – legislative reform?
  • Adapting to changing risks
  • Maritime disputes in international arbitration

This will be a hybrid event.
