Simon is a Partner in Watson Farley and Williams’ Maritime Group with over 25 years’ experience based in London, Piraeus and Singapore in advising industry participants on debt, leasing and structured finance, security, construction and conversion, sale and purchase, and operational and corporate matters.

He has also been involved in a number of high-profile restructuring, work-out and dispute resolution matters and public placement transactions.

Simon was a key architect on Watson, Farley and Williams’ 2012 ESG report, ‘The Sustainability Imperative’ and its follow-up report released in March of 2023.

He also co-chairs Watson, Farley and Williams’ Sustainable Shipping Initiative; he was a contributor to the 2023 Marine Capital/UMAS/Lloyd’s Register report, ‘UK Domestic Shipping: Mobilising Investment in Net Zero’; and he formerly chaired the British Chamber of Commerce’s Transport Logistics and Supply Chain Business Group Committee in Singapore.
