Victoria joined the Department for Transport’s (DfT) Maritime Directorate in May 2020 to support the Directorate’s policy response to Covid-19. From July 2021, she took up the post of Deputy Director for the wider Maritime Strategy and Programmes team.

Prior to joining Maritime, Victoria spent several years providing strategic finance and funding advice within Rail, HS2 and Highways England, and led work to map project interfaces across Rail and HS2. Victoria has also spent time on secondment at the Marine Accident Investigation Branch and at the European Commission where she led on the shipping emissions brief.
