SHIPPING INNOVATION ANNOUNCES NEW SPONSORS OF LONDON INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING WEEK 2023

Shipping Innovation, owner and organiser of London International Shipping Week, is delighted to welcome a number of key sponsors of LISW23.

Seatrade Maritime (www.seatrademaritimeevents.com), the specialist global event organiser and maritime news provider, has underlined its commitment to London International Shipping Week 2023 by becoming a Platinum Sponsor while the Bahamas Maritime Authority has been confirmed as a Silver Sponsor of the week.

Chris Morley, Group Director – Maritime Events at Informa Markets (owners of Seatrade Maritime), welcomed the tie up with LISW23 which will see them promoted as one of the highest-level sponsors. In return, LISW will be promoted as an International Community Partner of a number of global events organised by Informa Markets and its Seatrade Maritime events arm in London, The Philippines, the US, Middle East and Singapore.

Mr Morley said: “As a provider of services that connect the international maritime community, it’s important to us to support LISW and help bring even more of the maritime industry together here in London. Our commitment is fuelled by shared values and an unwavering belief in the power of collaboration and connection.”

Capt. Dwain E. Hutchinson, Managing Director & CEO of the Bahamas Maritime Authority, said The BMA was delighted to be part of the exciting LISW23 week and was looking forward to the high-level business networking that the week will generate.

He said: “London International Shipping Week has been bringing the global maritime industry together for the past 10 years and, as a leading registry, we are very pleased to be participating in this year’s event. We welcome this opportunity to meet up with many of our friends and partners from the industry worldwide.”

Llewellyn Bankes-Hughes, co-owner of LISW23, said: “LISW has established itself as a must-attend event in the global maritime calendar and will build significantly on the success it achieved in September 2021 when it was held right in the middle of the Covid pandemic. The maritime world is back meeting face-to-face and the heightened interest in LISW23 means even more events during the week and more decision makers attending and networking.

“We are delighted to welcome our friends at Seatrade Maritime and The BMA into the LISW fold and we look forward to working closely with them to ensure their involvement is a massive success,” he said.

LISW23 will be held during the week of September 11-15, 2023 and will play host to the maritime world with hundreds of events attracting thousands of international industry decision makers into London during the week. The headline LISW23 Conference will be held on Wednesday September 13th while the LISW23 Gala Dinner will be held on Thursday September 14th.
