The Shipping Professional Network London (SPNL) is pleased to announce they will be hosting their annual London International Shipping Week event on the evening of Tuesday 14th September, to be held at the Museum of London.
Not only will this provide an excellent opportunity to meet and network with many industry professionals, but also an awards ceremony is to be held entitled the SPNL Sustainable Growth and Recovery Awards for Innovations in Environmental and Social Governance. The ceremony aims to acknowledge those people and organisations that have made significant contributions to the shipping industry in several categories based on the LISW 2021 theme.
Candidates are currently being voted upon by the SPNL’s wide network of young shipping professionals in a variety of categories, including:
-People: Seafarer Welfare
-Innovation: The UK Port of Tomorrow
The awards will be presented by a number of notable members of the industry, and the event looks set to a perfect forum for attendees to discuss ESG impacts in shipping.
