Rupert Stuart-Smith is a researcher at the Oxford Martin School, a co-ordinator of the UK Youth Climate Coalition, and is studying for a DPhil in Environmental Research at the University of Oxford. His current research spans sustainable finance, climate change litigation, and climate and glacier modelling.

His research also includes evaluation of corporate emission reduction commitments in the energy sector, in collaboration with the Grantham Research Institute at the London School of Economics.
During his time as an undergraduate, Rupert developed an investment strategy aligned with the Paris Climate Agreement with St Hilda’s College, Oxford, the Oxford Martin School and Sarasin & Partners. His previous work includes a research paper on marine noise pollution for the International Chamber of Shipping.
