The Shipping Debate: Decarbonisation, future skills and challenges: Is shipping ready for it all?

The Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers is the professional body for shipbrokers, cargo charterers, ship owners and managers, port agents, finance specialists, legal and insurance professionals. The Institute is well known for maritime education and sets syllabuses in subjects of shipping.  Membership of the Institute is assessed by examination.

The venue and hosts for the evening are ITIC which is managed by Thomas Miller at their fabulous office at 90 Fenchurch Street, London. ITIC is the world’s leading professional indemnity insurer for transport professionals in marine and aviation, offshore, and energy sectors. They have over 3300 members in 120 different countries.

The Shipping Debate seminar and drinks reception will involve both the ICS and ITIC working collaboratively with speakers discussing a range of topics on the challenges faced by shipping business.  This event will be popular and appealing to ship agents, ship brokers, ship managers and port operators who want to explore and understand these challenges.
